“The total project investment is about US$ 1.5 million. It is under Da Nang’s IT-Telecommunications development project framework funded by World Bank”, said Pham Kim Son, Director General, of DIC, during the launch.

The centre will serve as the point of contact to provide public services, update status of paperwork handling, and also function as a two-way platform between citizens and many state agencies in Da Nang city. Its aim is to serve as an “information bridge” and improve the performance of the public sector within the region. Citizens will also be able to file their claims here and find out more about government agencies and public services.

“Started in 2011 and carried out in 6 months, this centre was launched to promote IT application in administration reform and provide online services in Da Nang”, Son added.
