The CSC scheme has been envisaged to provide high quality and cost-effective video, voice and data content and web-enabled e-governance services in rural areas.
The project has been implemented by Spanco Limited. The company has provided for installing the required equipment costing Rs. 1.5 lakhs. A check-up will cost a nominal fee of R. 35-50. Spanco has also made 10 special medical kits available each costing Rs.2000 for patients through this centre.
